(AUv3 and CoreMIDI Effect)
mfxConvert is a plugin designed to offer real-time conversion of MIDI events. Its functionality extends to basic channel, note, or controller remapping, as well as more complex conversions such as turning pitch bend into controller information or converting note velocity to channel pressure. Below are the supported conversion options.
While straightforward in operation, mfxConvert proves to be a valuable and efficient tool. Users can set up multiple distinct conversions within a single utility.
Supported Conversions:
- note -> note, aftertouch, controller, program change, channel pressure, pitch bend, or system realtime
- aftertouch -> aftertouch, controller, or channel pressure
- controller -> note, aftertouch, controller, program change, channel pressure, pitch bend, or system realtime
- program change -> note, controller, program change, or system realtime
- channel pressure -> controller, channel pressure, or pitch bend
- pitch bend -> controller, channel pressure, or pitch bend
- system realtime -> controller, program change or system realtime
